Courses taken within degree and certificate programs are offered in five weeks (counseling), and seven weeks (all other degrees) formats.  Courses usually meet one evening per week or on a weekend format, and the hours of the class vary according to format.  Many students find that they can reach their goals faster by taking more than one course per session.  Some courses, certificates and degrees, are offered online.  Most courses are offered in a multi-method format using a combination of both online and on site instruction.

Admission:

The Bachelor’s degree program allows for transfer of credits and must be evaluated by the chair of the program.  Master’s degree programs require a bachelor’s degree and an undergraduate gpa of 3.0 but waivers for 2.7 or greater can be granted on a case by case basis.  Doctoral Degrees require a 3.0 gpa in their Master’s Degree but waivers for 2.7 or greater can be granted on case by case basis.  Certificate programs generally do not require an undergraduate degree, although courses are taught at the graduate level.  Transfer credits will be considered on a case by case basis for individuals having a “C” or better in undergraduate courses and a “B” or better in graduate courses.
