Rather than requiring students to adhere to strict, rigid class schedules that can conflict with personal or professional responsibilities, we offer innovative options like our Degree NOW™ program, which gives students the flexibility to complete their studies at night, online and on weekends. We also offer executive-format programs designed specifically for working professionals.

ADMISSIONS
Prospective students are encouraged to visit the CTU campus that interests them and speak with an Admissions Advisor to learn about our application process and about the degree programs best suited to their needs. It is also possible for students living far away from one of our CTU campuses to take a virtual tour of the campus and complete an online application for admission to the school.

The Downtown Campus of the University of Colorado Denver is situated within the skyline that creates Colorado’s capital city. More than 80 degree programs are offered – bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral – along with numerous professional education opportunities. Around 13,000 students pursue degree programs in several downtown campus buildings and through the Web using CU Online access. Students represent a diverse mix of recent high school graduates to seasoned professionals, with an average age of 26.

Seven colleges and schools provide degree opportunities in architecture and urban planning, arts and media, business, education, engineering and applied science, liberal arts and sciences, and public affairs.

Location:
Flexibility and convenience of class delivery provide students options to take classes downtown on the Auraria Campus near Speer Boulevard and Auraria Parkway and online through CU Online. Classes are also held at the Bard Center on the 16 th Street Mall downtown and at several neighborhood sites. Many students pursue complete degree programs taking classes only in the evenings.
Schedule:
Classes are taught during 16-week fall and spring semesters and 10-week summer semesters.
Admission:
Students can enter as new freshmen, transfer from other institutions, select a non-degree path, or pursue master’s or doctoral degrees. Deadline for priority admissions consideration for undergraduate programs is July 22 for the fall semester and December 1 for the spring semester. Graduate-bound students must contact the individual colleges and schools providing the program for deadlines and application requirements.
